Ismail Enes Yigit Has double major from Mechatronics Engineering at Bahçeşehir University and Mechanical Engineering at Rutgers University New Jersey. Currently doing PhD at Koç University Production and Automation Research Center. Interested on topics such as manufacturing, robotics, CAD and CAM. Contributed to various research such as the modeling of the contact surface between the cutting tool and the work-piece during machining, 5 axis machining force modeling and tool orientation analysis. Currently working on additive manufacturing with the help of a robotic manipulator. Examining the new possibilities given by 6 axes compared to conventional cartesian machines, such as helical and spherical slicing algorithms.
